Politics Explained was founded by Oli with one simple goal: to make A Level Politics easier to understand and to help students achieve the best grades possible. What started as a small project has grown into a platform that has helped thousands of students prepare for their exams, while also supporting teachers with high-quality, classroom-ready resources.

We're a small team of former A* students who understand what it takes to succeed in A Level exams. Rather than encouraging endless note-taking or memorising unnecessary content, we focus on the revision techniques, exam skills, and resources that genuinely improve grades, saving students time and helping them revise with confidence.

We believe every student should have access to quality revision support, regardless of their budget. That's why we provide as many free, high-quality resources as possible, alongside our extensive YouTube channel, where students around the world access lessons, exam advice, and revision content. We want students to be able to trust our resources before they ever spend a penny.

Politics Explained is now part of a wider mission to make the humanities clearer, fairer, and more accessible. Building on the success of Politics Explained, we're expanding the same student-first approach into History, Geography, and Sociology, while continuing to support both students and teachers every step of the way.
