Why is using recent examples important?
Using recent examples has always been key to doing well in A-Level Politics, but this year it is more important than ever.
The Edexcel exam board recently reiterated the importance of using contemporary examples in your essays, as doing so makes sure that you are answering the question in relation to the current state of politics in the UK - not in relation to history.
Politics has changed dramatically over the past decade and you need to show to the examiner that you understand what has changed and the current state of play.
What about examples from next year?
If you purchase the example packs, they will continue to update in your account all the way up to the exams in May 2026.
That means you'll have loads of 2026 examples to use in your essays, along with the 30+ key examples and content updates from the second half of 2025 that are already in the document.
How is the document structured?
Every example is fully explained and analysed - showing you exactly how you could use it to support a point in the exam.
The examples are sorted by topic and subtopic, making it easy to find the right examples when revising a particular topic. This includes the boring, niche examples that aren't often in the news, but that can be key to getting the top grades.
